Delaware Gazette John Raitt, former Delaware County Historian, many years ago, extracted this information from the Delaware Gazette for the years 1819- 1900. He gave me a copy so that I could index it, which index is on the Delaware County History Site. I am retyping his notes and submitting them to the Delaware County Site for the use of this generation and future generations so that they might ‘find’ their lost ancestors. Mr. Raitt spent many long hours collecting and preserving the history of our County.
